2019 Young Farmers Conference #YFC19
The 2019 Young Farmers conference at the Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture was a great event! I met some dynamic and talented farmers and many expert contacts for growing Sly Fox Farm. The conference was well organized and featured fabulous catering courtesy of the staff at Blue Hill. The content was a mix of inspirational speakers, thought provoking ideas about agriculture’s role in restructuring society, and practical advice on improving production and efficacy on sustainable farms. I appreciated the honesty about projects that didn’t work as expected, the openness to new ideas, and the willingness to share from everyone involved. If you want to experience a bit of what happened at the 12th Annual conference for yourself, check out the #YFC19 recorded sessions now online. Enjoy!
